Dual Study Program in Consulting - Computer Science / Cyber Security Specialization

The dual study program in computer science with a Cyber Security specialization at DHBW Mannheim starts on September 1, 2027, with a preparatory internship and ends with a Bachelor of Science. You will alternate between university theory phases and practical phases in the Cyber Security Architecture team and develop toward a security architect role.

Learning about modern security architectures for cloud, application, and integration environments and contributing to their design; participating in threat modeling, risk analyses, and security reviews; learning about Zero Trust concepts and supporting their implementation; accompanying development teams through the software development lifecycle and learning about security by design and DevSecOps; taking part in training on cyber security technologies, methods, and soft skills.

School-leaving qualification with university entrance qualification and good to very good grades, especially in mathematics, computer science, German, and English; enthusiasm for computer science and cyber security; interest in securing cloud, application, and integration environments; very good communication skills in German at C1 level and English at B2 level; agile mindset; curiosity, ambition, and commitment; team orientation and appreciation of diverse perspectives.
