Qualified Train Manager FlixTrain

As a train manager at FlixTrain you bring passengers to their destination safely, reliably and with excellent service, from operations monitoring to personal care on board. No career changers and no training are offered; pre-qualified and trained train managers for long-distance service are wanted.

• Monitor the safe transport of our passengers along the entire route
• Be the contact person for passengers and offer first-class service on board
• Check tickets and help with ticket sales on the train
• Accompany shunting and the placing and removal of the rolling stock
• Independently carry out technical checks, such as wagon inspections and brake tests
• Actively shape a positive travel experience for our guests
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our service and operating processes

• You have a completed qualification as train staff (e.g. train driver/train manager)
• Ideally you already have the qualification for brake tests and wagon inspections (refreshers possible), and you are comfortable using a PC
• You have very good German skills, basic English skills are an advantage
• Willingness to stay overnight: You enjoy long-distance work, traveling across Germany and nights away from home - Flix takes care of travel, food and lodging
• Willingness to travel: You get the chance to travel across Germany for free for business and private purposes
• Shift work: Individual shifts, for example at night, on weekends or on public holidays, are no problem for you
• As a service-oriented and communicative person you always present yourself well and keep calm and an overview even in stressful moments
