Apprenticeship as an Electronics Technician for Automation Technology

During this apprenticeship, you learn to program robots, install systems, and design digital processes.

You install, program, and maintain robots and PLC systems. You learn electrical engineering basics such as control technology, electro-pneumatics, and PLC programming, design digital processes, and assemble components and cables, take measurements, and fix faults.

You have at least a lower secondary school certificate after grade 10, very good German language skills at C1 level or higher, and an interest in mathematics, physics, and technology. You have practical skills and good concentration, and enjoy teamwork and hands-on training.

The apprenticeship may be shortened. You gain insights into modern industrial processes, work on varied projects with real practical experience, and receive professional and personal support from a strong team.
