Mechatronics Technician Apprenticeship, Saarlouis Location

The apprenticeship teaches how mechanical and electronic components work together in machines and systems. It combines practical craftsmanship with technical knowledge, from assembly to programming modern control systems.

Testing, maintaining and checking machines; identifying faults and carrying out repairs; dismantling, repairing and reinstalling machine parts; connecting and adjusting electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems; assembling mechatronic systems; programming, installing and checking control systems and complex systems; testing sensors and connecting circuits.

Good lower secondary school certificate after grade 9 or higher; technical understanding and manual skills; good grades in mathematics, computer science and physics are an advantage; interest in technical processes.
