Dual Study Program in Electrical Engineering

What is a dual study program and what are its advantages? A dual study program combines theory and practice. Theoretical content is taught at the university of applied sciences, while practical content is conveyed at Fassmer. The program is linked to a recognized apprenticeship occupation. Tuition fees are covered, and you receive a monthly apprenticeship allowance. Upon completion, you obtain a Bachelor of Engineering degree and a vocational qualification as an Electronics Technician for Energy and Building Technology. Partner university: Jade University of Applied Sciences Wilhelmshaven. Duration: 8 semesters. Start date: 15.08.2027. Course structure: 1st semester in-company training and practical project 1; 2nd semester studies; 3rd semester studies/in-company training, journeyman's examination part 1; 4th semester studies; 5th semester practical semester with journeyman's examination part 2 and practical project 2; 6th-7th semester studies (specialization); 8th semester studies and bachelor's thesis on a company topic.
