Medical Equipment Technician

Fresenius Health Services is seeking a medical equipment technician in Gotha to start immediately in a permanent, full-time role. The company provides services and advice on the technical infrastructure of healthcare facilities.

• Independently manage the medical equipment at the Gotha site
• Carry out and organise servicing, maintenance and repairs of medical equipment
• Carry out safety and measurement checks and inspections under MPBetreibV and DGUV regulations
• Register new medical devices and maintain the equipment inventory in WaveWare
• Document all completed work in WaveWare
• Provide technical advice and support to users in everyday hospital operations
• Communicate and coordinate with manufacturers and external service providers

• Completed vocational training in medical technology, electrical engineering or electronics, for example as a medical equipment technician, equipment and systems electronics technician, information electronics technician or mechatronics technician, or a comparable technical qualification
• Ideally, professional experience in medical technology
• Knowledge of relevant legal requirements, such as MDR and MPBetreibV, is desirable
• Practical skills and an independent, reliable and service-focused approach to work
• Confident use of MS Office and common PC applications
• Very good spoken and written German
• Valid work permit for Germany
