Medical Equipment Technician

HERMED, a healthcare consulting and services company within the Fresenius Group, is seeking a medical equipment technician in Gera to start immediately. This is a permanent, full-time position.

• Organise and carry out repairs and maintenance on medical equipment
• Register new equipment and maintain the existing equipment inventory
• Inspect and maintain medical equipment in accordance with MPBetreibV and DGUV guidelines
• Record work in WaveWare
• Support medical equipment users with all technical questions
• Communicate with equipment manufacturers and service providers

• Completed technical training, for example as a medical equipment technician or a state-certified technician specialising in medical technology
• Experience in medical technology and knowledge of legal requirements (MDR, MPBetreibV, etc.) are desirable
• Practical technical skills and reliability
• Confidence using computers and common software applications (MS Office)
• Very good German skills and a valid work permit
