Team Lead Quality Assurance

In this position, you will assume operational leadership of a small QA team at our Dunningen site and actively shape the daily quality assurance processes. You will work closely with adjacent specialist departments, primarily with Production & Plant Management, and contribute to sustainably reducing quality deviations and continuously improving our testing processes. You will report directly to the Head of Quality Assurance/Quality Management (QA/QM), with whom you will coordinate technical priorities, improvement measures, and overarching quality topics.

• Technical and disciplinary leadership as well as further development of a small team of two employees in quality assurance
• Coordination and monitoring of test and control processes in ongoing production operations to ensure product quality
• Ensuring proper execution, documentation, and evaluation of quality tests as well as initiating releases or blocks in case of deviations
• Analysis of quality deviations and key figures as well as initiation and tracking of suitable corrective and improvement measures
• Processing and support in the analysis of internal and external complaints, including root cause analyses and 8D reports
• Maintenance and needs-based updating of test plans, work instructions, and quality-relevant documentation
• Organization and monitoring of test equipment management including calibration and documentation
• Participation in the preparation and execution of internal and external audits
• Close cooperation with production as well as the areas of development, logistics, and sales on quality-related issues
• Collaboration on continuous improvement measures and quality projects in coordination with the Head of QA/QM

• Completed technical vocational training, ideally as a Plastics and Rubber Technologist (m/f/d) or in a comparable technical profession
• Further training in quality assurance, metrology, or quality management is an advantage
• At least three years of professional experience in quality assurance, preferably in a manufacturing industrial company
• Initial experience in technical and/or disciplinary leadership of employees or the motivation to take the next career step into a management function
• Good knowledge of metrology, common test procedures, and quality-relevant documentation
• Confident use of MS Office and ideally experience with ERP and CAQ systems
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style
• Strong communication skills, sense of responsibility, and assertiveness in dealing with various interfaces
• Enjoyment in supporting employees, coordinating processes, and actively ensuring quality in daily production
