Project Manager

The GEBHARDT Intralogistics Group is one of the leading providers of material flow and intra-company logistics systems. For over 70 years, GEBHARDT has been developing customized complete solutions – from idea to full realization – in the areas of transport, material flow, sorting technology, assembly and storage technology, including control & automation, warehouse management systems and IT integration. We are looking for a Project Manager (m/f/d) in the area of Strategic Sales as soon as possible, who will lead our projects to success with commitment, technical understanding and structure.

• As a project manager, you take over the management of the introduction of new plant components for one of our largest US key accounts.
• You organize and moderate appointments with internal and external stakeholders, maintain open-points lists and create clear, structured status reports.
• You also actively participate in the creation and coordination of specifications and ensure that deadlines and costs are tracked transparently.
• At the same time, you coordinate the entire technical project processing – from layout through mechanics to electrical and control systems.
• You also keep an eye on the technically correct and timely implementation and ensure that everything runs smoothly.
• With a view to the future, you prepare new plant components for later scaling.
• On site, you support construction site visits, troubleshooting and acceptance tests.
• In daily business, you work closely with Engineering and Purchasing and report directly to the Head of Strategic Sales – always with clear, binding communication.
• For workshops and construction site visits, you also travel to the USA 5–20% of your time.

• You have a completed degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, automation technology or a comparable field.
• You also have experience in project management and coordination of interdisciplinary teams – ideally from intralogistics or the capital goods sector.
• With your technical understanding, you quickly recognize relationships in modular intralogistics systems.
• You confidently use SAP, MS Office (especially Excel) and ideally CAD systems.
• Your way of working is characterized by structure, independence, team orientation and high implementation strength.
• In critical situations you appear confident, personable and communicative.
• Very good English skills and willingness to travel complete your profile.
