Apprenticeship as Hearing Aid Acoustician Dissen

The hearing aid acoustician apprenticeship at GEERS in Dissen am Teutoburger Wald includes customer support, conducting hearing tests, working with modern hearing aid technology, learning the technical craft (ear impressions, otoplastics) and teamwork. The in-house academy supports apprentices, there are takeover opportunities, attractive remuneration (€800 in the 1st year, €950 in the 2nd year, €1,050 in the 3rd year), 25 days vacation, Germany Ticket subsidy, €50 monthly Edenred card, coverage of vocational school costs in Lübeck and other benefits.

You personally accompany customers on site – from the first conversation to the moment they hear better again. You deal with the structure and function of the ear and learn what good hearing has to do with our body and perception. You work with state-of-the-art hearing aid technology and get to know AI-supported hearing systems, among other things. You learn the technical craft: from pre-setting hearing aids to ear impressions and milling otoplastics. You conduct hearing tests and measurements with modern technology and learn to correctly interpret the results. Together with customers, you find solutions that fit their everyday life and personal needs. You work in a team and gradually take on more responsibility.

You are curious and eager to constantly acquire new knowledge – from ear science to modern hearing technology. You enjoy working with people and take pleasure in listening, asking questions and finding good solutions together. You approach others openly and respectfully – regardless of whether you are dealing with customers, colleagues or other people. You like to take initiative and don't wait for someone to tell you what to do next. You work reliably and carefully and keep agreements. You enjoy working in a team and can take responsibility for your own tasks. You are excited by the combination of people, craftsmanship, natural sciences and modern technology. You have a secondary school diploma (Mittlere Reife), a very good lower secondary school diploma (Hauptschulabschluss) or are about to obtain one. You speak German at least at B2 level, so you can communicate confidently in the specialist shop and at vocational school.

Strong training with perspective: Our in-house academy supports you throughout your apprenticeship and prepares you specifically for your exams. Takeover & further development: After your apprenticeship, we cover the costs for your master craftsman, pedagogical acoustics or CI further training. Fair training: Our apprenticeship is independently certified as 'Fair Training' – and awarded by our own apprentices. Attractive remuneration: €800 in the 1st year, €950 in the 2nd year and €1,050 in the 3rd year – plus 25 days vacation. More money for good performance: Good performance is rewarded with bonuses and bonus payments. Germany Ticket: We cover 50% of the costs for your Germany Ticket. €50 extra per month: With your Edenred card you get an additional €50 per month on top of your salary. Your vocational school stays in Lübeck and the associated costs are covered by us. In the process, you get to know apprentices and colleagues from all over Germany.
