About this Apprenticeship
A three-year apprenticeship at DÖRKEN in Herdecke. You will turn business processes into IT systems, develop software and connect systems using modern interface technology. Vocational school lessons take place in blocks at the vocational college in Witten.

- Turn business processes into IT systems.
- Write programs and improve software with other departments to make colleagues' daily work easier.
- Connect different systems using modern interface technology and help DÖRKEN move towards digital processes.
- Plan national and international projects, fix errors and find solutions to real problems.
Requirements
- You enjoy sharing ideas and are open to new and digital challenges.
- You work well in a team and communicate openly and kindly.
- You are highly motivated to do well.
- Enjoyment of IT and an interest in industrial processes
- Logical and analytical thinking
- At least a completed intermediate secondary school qualification
- Basic IT knowledge, for example from internships or IT subjects at school; some programming knowledge is helpful

- A thorough introduction programme and activities to meet others, such as an apprentice trip
- Learning lounge and help with exams
