Dual Study Programme – Applied Computer Science (B.Sc.) (for 2027)

In the training as IT specialist (m/f/d) for system integration, you become the IT expert who keeps DÖRKEN's IT infrastructure running and developing: end devices, servers, networks and security. You set up systems, fix faults and help colleagues, in Germany and internationally. Through the studies you deepen IT topics, especially system integration, and widen your knowledge of networks, databases and AI. Duration: 4.5 years (9 semesters). Study days: self-study and on-site classes at Fachhochschule Südwestfalen in Iserlohn (about twice a month). Working time is reduced to 30h/week. Study focus: system integration or AI.

• You make sure the IT infrastructure (end devices, servers, networks and security) runs and keeps developing
• You work on projects with modern technologies

• Enthusiasm for IT and digitalisation
• Interest in business and technical processes
• At least a completed Fachhochschulreife (advanced technical college entrance qualification), ideally with an IT focus (ITA)
• Good grades and first IT knowledge
