Student Assistant for International AIX Operations

The Generali Operations Service Platform (GOSP) supports the Generali Group in optimizing digital services and service quality. GOSP uses shared technology platforms for the group. As a joint venture partner, Accenture supports transformation, innovation, and scaling. GOSP develops solutions for digitalization and the introduction of a cloud-centric model, including IT infrastructure, procurement, security operations, and anti-money laundering. To support the AIX Competence Center (AIX CC) in the German branch of GOSP, we are looking for a student assistant (m/f/d). The AIX CC is responsible for the operational operation of AIX server systems in the GOSP data centers in Aachen and Mogliano (Italy). Essentially, it is about ensuring the AIX service for international customers in Germany, France, Italy, and Hungary in the required quality and implementing new customer requirements on a project basis. You will become part of several cross-functional processes for the operational operation of the AIX infrastructure to optimally support our AIX service for IT users in Germany, France, Italy, and Hungary. You will support the analysis of reported security vulnerabilities and participate in planning their fastest possible elimination. You will accompany the change management process for updating virtual AIX servers and coordinate update dates with an external service provider and national and international customers. You will participate in proactive measures to ensure business continuity management (BCM). You will support processes around automation, e.g., quality of the configuration management database and cost-performance accounting.

• You are enrolled in a degree program and have at least 2 years remaining until graduation
• You have an affinity for IT and enjoy working on a PC
• You are proficient in Microsoft standard software, especially MS Teams, Outlook, and Excel
• You are reliable, committed, enjoy working in a team, and complete your tasks prudently and carefully
• You are flexible in terms of time
• You have a good command of German and English, both written and spoken
