School-Based Training: Social Care Assistant

The two-year school-based programme provides educational, social-care and practical knowledge for working with children, young people, older people and people requiring support. It combines classroom teaching with practical training phases, and students can also obtain an intermediate school-leaving qualification.

• Support and accompany people in different life situations
• Assist with educational, care-related and domestic tasks
• Care for and support different groups of people
• Help structure daily life and organize activities
• Accompany people individually and learn to understand social processes
• Gain practical experience in childcare centres, schools, residential homes or care facilities

• Good German skills at B1/B2 level
