Apprenticeship as Process Mechanic for Ready-Mixed Concrete

For our concrete plant located in Fürth we are looking for committed and motivated young talents for an apprenticeship as a process mechanic for ready-mixed concrete (m/f/d) starting 01.09.2027. Control production – between control room and plant: you monitor and control the entire concrete production via modern digital systems. In the control room you control by click what happens at the plant – and if something doesn't run smoothly at the plant, you are directly on site and help out; load mixer trucks – you ensure the perfect mix: you start the filling process of the mixer trucks and check the recipe. This ensures that every truck gets exactly the concrete the construction site needs – at the right time, in the right quantity; check quality – so that the concrete delivers what it promises: whether consistency, moisture or recipe: you take samples, check quality and adjust settings so that every concrete is perfect – from the small floor slab to the large bridge construction; understand technology – and also lend a hand yourself: you learn how our mixers, conveyor systems, silos and dosing systems work. If malfunctions occur, you find the cause together with your team and support cleaning, maintenance and minor repairs; coordination & dispatching – you keep the plant running: in the master mixer office all threads come together. You help decide which driver drives when, which order has priority, which concrete goes where. You are the interface between office, concrete plant and our construction sites; customer contact & communication: whether drivers, colleagues from technology and quality or customers ordering concrete: you accept orders, clarify questions and keep everyone up to date; pure variety: the profession is a mix of technical understanding, manual skill, organizational planning, digital process control and lots of communication

You have a secondary school leaving certificate (Hauptschulabschluss) or intermediate school leaving certificate (Realschulabschluss) and want to start your career with lots of practice; interest in technology and manual dexterity – you want to understand how machines work and get hands-on yourself; you observe carefully and work attentively so that production runs smoothly; you like to communicate and enjoy planning and organizing processes; you want to become a true all-rounder – with a mix of technology, digital office work, manual tasks at the plant and direct customer contact; you learn quickly, are reliable and like working in a team
