About this Apprenticeship
In the new innovation center at the Wiesloch/Walldorf site, teams from all engineering disciplines work on the new and further development of HEIDELBERG's products. Theses and internships are offered for mechanical engineering students. Topics can be worked on starting immediately. The length of the work depends on the relevant study regulations.
What You'll Learn
- A concept study for a novel mechatronic system including patent research, simulation and preliminary tests
- Development or revision of existing assemblies and gearboxes in CAD
- Ordering and testing 3D-printed prototypes on a test bench in the lab or on a test machine
- Product launch and series support of machine components
Requirements
- Students of mechanical engineering with a particular interest in developing and designing mechanical and mechatronic assemblies
- Above-average academic performance
- Good knowledge of fundamentals such as engineering mechanics, machine elements and design theory
- Depending on the task, in-depth knowledge of mechatronics, process, simulation or test engineering is helpful
- Strong teamwork skills as well as independent, committed and self-reliant work
