Technician Product Development - Structural Adhesives Automotive

Become part of the Adhesive Technologies business unit team as Technician Product Development - Structural Adhesives. Actively help shape the organization's success, contribute to diverse projects through close and effective collaboration, and bring in your individual strengths and skills.

• Testing and evaluating formulations with regard to customer requirements, specifications and technical target values
• Independent planning, coordination and documentation of experiments in close coordination with the development team
• Planning, carrying out and evaluating lab formulations and test series in the area of Adhesive Technologies
• Analyzing and interpreting test results and deriving suitable further development measures
• Support in developing and optimizing epoxy-based structural adhesives for automotive applications
• Evaluating new raw materials and analyzing their influence on product properties, processing and performance
• Contributing to the launch of new products and to scale-up, pilot and production trials
• Documentation, preparation and presentation of results and communication within interdisciplinary project teams

• Completed training as a chemical laboratory technician or comparable qualification
• Ideally at least 3 years of laboratory experience, preferably in product development
• Structured and independent way of working and a strong interest in practical and experimental lab work
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment of working in interdisciplinary teams
• Fluent German and English, spoken and written
