CNC Inspector for 5-Axis Milling Machines, Permanent Night Shift with Setup Duties

HENSOLDT is seeking a CNC inspector for 5-axis milling machines with setup duties at its machine shop in Ulm. The role involves measuring aluminium components and ensuring high quality standards. The permanent night shift runs from 22:00 to 05:30.

• Independently set up and operate ZEISS coordinate measuring machines with CALYPSO controls
• Precisely measure complex aluminium components according to technical drawings and specified inspection requirements
• Create, adapt and improve measurement programs with ZEISS CALYPSO
• Evaluate and document measurement results in line with required quality standards
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, parts lists and relevant standards
• Assess GPS geometrical tolerances and select suitable measurement methods
• Ensure high quality standards in aerospace production
• Carry out additional measurements using manual measuring instruments, height gauges and optical measuring systems
• Properly deburr components when needed

• Completed vocational training as a machining technician or comparable technical training
• Thorough knowledge of operating and controlling ZEISS coordinate measuring machines with CALYPSO
• Experience creating and editing measurement programs with ZEISS CALYPSO
• Confidence working with technical drawings and understanding GPS geometrical tolerances
• Several years of experience measuring complex, high-precision milled parts
• Experience using manual measuring instruments, height gauges and optical measuring systems
• Strong commitment to quality and a careful, independent approach to work
• Willingness to work permanent night shifts from 22:00 to 05:30
