Production Logistics Specialist

For its Oberkochen site, HENSOLDT is looking as soon as possible for a material supplier (m/f) in the Repairs & Retrofit Systems Land area. The area repairs and produces sensors and complete systems for vehicles for wide-area surveillance for military customers at home and abroad.

• Ensuring material availability at the workplace
• Sorting incoming material deliveries and assigning them to designated workplaces / stations in production
• Refilling and providing 1-/2-bin KANBAN systems
• Checking stored materials against thresholds
• Handling ad-hoc requests / urgent needs and resolving defects/discrepancies
• Escalating to planning / logistics when material supply to production is disrupted
• Packing containers for return to storage, returning empties and creating orders for plant logistics in SAP
• Monitoring planned provisions and inflows and identifying over- and under-supply
• Periodic checks of stock held in the production supply area
• Responsibility for order, cleanliness and 5S in the PVB area

• Successfully completed vocational training as a warehouse logistics specialist (m/f/d) or comparable vocational training
• Professional experience in warehouse logistics and/or supplying stations in production
• Knowledge of handling precision mechanical, electronic and optical parts and assemblies is desirable
• Knowledge of KANBAN delivery/control
• Experience in SAP
• Independent working style, flexibility and teamwork are required
• Strong performance and quality awareness
• Good German skills, spoken and written
• Willingness to work shifts
