Expert IT Administrator P-8A

HENSOLDT is seeking an Expert IT Administrator P-8A in Fürstenfeldbruck to join Mission Fixed Wing Support Stations as soon as possible. The team develops and supports ground-based mission solutions for mission and maritime aircraft, focusing on IT and software solutions.

• Help install, configure, administer and maintain Windows server and client systems
• Build IT infrastructure for development, testing, integration and production environments, focusing on administering core Windows services such as Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and user and permissions management
• Help set up, configure and maintain hardware and software components
• Implement system hardening, patching and security rules to meet IT security requirements in coordination with the IT architect
• Support development and project teams in providing and integrating the required IT systems and development environments
• Plan and carry out system changes, updates, migrations and rollouts
• Create and maintain system, operating, installation and configuration documentation
• Work with internal departments, IT security, project management, external partners and service providers

• Completed vocational training in IT with further qualification as a technician or master craftsperson, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience administering Windows servers and IT infrastructure
• Thorough knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and user and permissions management
• Experience with system hardening, patch management and IT security requirements
• An analytical, structured approach and strong problem-solving skills
• Initiative and a sense of responsibility
• Teamwork, strong communication skills and a clear focus on customers and service
• Good written and spoken German and English
• Willingness to travel occasionally for work and work in security-sensitive areas
