Hardware Engineer

Hardware Engineer (f/m/d) at HENSOLDT in Fürstenfeldbruck, independently carrying out hardware development tasks in international and national projects.

• Independently carry out hardware development tasks using modern methods and tools and according to general guidelines
• Comply with (hardware) development processes
• Contribute to creating hardware requirements
• Design, enter into EDA software and simulate simple hardware design parts (e.g. circuit parts, layout, hardware description language)
• Prepare design artifacts and manufacturing documents
• Carry out hardware verification, in particular tests (functional, environmental and/or EMI qualification) or analyses
• Comply with the standards required for the task
• Independently carry out hardware development parts on time, within cost and to quality

• Completed degree in electrical engineering / telecommunications engineering, technical computer science or mechatronics, or a comparable qualification
• First, preferably relevant work experience in circuit design (e.g. from studies or internships/working student jobs)
• First experience with FPGA, microcontrollers, CAD and PCB design in general (using tools such as EAGLE, Altium, SPICE, etc.) desirable
• Affinity for electrical engineering topics
• Strong quality awareness
• Strong customer and service orientation
• Willingness to go on business trips
• Ability to analyze deviations and take suitable measures
• Very good German and good English skills, spoken and written
