Hardware Developer for Test System Modules

At the Ulm site, we are looking for the "Test Hardware" department as soon as possible for a "Test System Developer Hardware (m/f/d)". The team, consisting of approximately 25 employees, designs, develops, constructs, and integrates production and customer testers for radar, electronic warfare, and avionics systems for vehicles, aircraft, helicopters, and ships. The test systems typically consist of a 19" rack based on COTS components with project-specific modules and an electrical, mechanical, and thermal test adapter to simulate the real use case.

• Conceptualization, development, and initial commissioning of hardware modules for project-specific test systems
• Selection and specification of suitable measuring instruments, components, and materials
• Support during integration and initial commissioning of prototypes
• Participation in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation and associated test specifications
• Support in obsolescence management and implementation of redesign measures on existing test systems

• Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field
• Basic knowledge of electrical measurement technology
• Knowledge of high-frequency measurement technology (RF measurement technology) is an advantage
• Initial knowledge of SAP ERP and SAP PLM is desirable
• Basic knowledge of hardware configuration, version control, and technical change management is an advantage
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working as well as strong teamwork skills
• Very good German skills and good English skills in word and writing
• Willingness for occasional business trips
