Test Technician, Radar Units, Laichingen

The Naval & Ground Radar Units department is seeking a test technician in Laichingen to start as soon as possible. The department assembles and tests naval and ground radar products and electronic warfare products. Initial training takes place in Ulm during the first few months.

• Integrate and commission digital and radio-frequency assemblies as well as power electronics
• Adjust and test radio-frequency assemblies up to 26 GHz
• Test power modules up to 20 kW
• Perform electrical safety tests according to VDE 0701 / 0702 and VDE 0100-600
• Set up and conduct individual and endurance tests using complex test setups and digital and radio-frequency testing techniques
• Prepare devices and systems for examination and carry out incoming inspections
• Prepare mechanical and electrical production support documentation and initiate changes
• Contribute to and support improvements to processes and workflows
• Identify and resolve problems during production in good time
• Process orders in SAP ERP and MES
• Create quality notifications in SAP
• Document customer returns in the SAP IMT module

• Completed vocational training as an electronics technician for devices and systems, a mechatronics technician or equivalent, with an additional state-certified technician qualification or equivalent
• Several years of production experience in analogue, digital and radio-frequency technology
• Proficiency in using electronic measuring instruments
• Experience integrating complex assemblies and systems
• Knowledge of MS Office
• Knowledge of SAP ERP / PLM modules is desirable
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• An independent approach to work and coordination and integration skills
• Business-fluent German and good English skills
