Service Technician - Focus on Eurofighter Repair

For the "Customer Services – Field Services & Repair" area, we are looking for a service technician for the Eurofighter "Technical Diagnostic Cell" (TDC) at the Bundeswehr site in Laage as soon as possible. At the HENSOLDT site in Laage, complex main assemblies of the Eurofighter from the radar and self-protection systems are repaired. In the first two years you can expect an intensive onboarding and qualification phase, mainly at the Ulm and Laage sites.

• Carrying out and organizing maintenance and repair work on assemblies of the Eurofighter self-protection system
• Working according to EASA, or EMAR/DEMAR Part 145
• Troubleshooting and fixing faults using modern testers, measuring equipment and methods
• Fault verification, fault detection, fault isolation, requalification and documentation for release and restoring airworthiness
• Planning and carrying out repair, maintenance and calibration of the test equipment used
• Documenting repairs, including maintaining entries in various database systems
• Active involvement in spare parts management, plus support in warehouse administration and carrying out inventories
• Preparing the required documentation for the classified-information registry, shipping and tool checks
• Complying with the applicable quality rules and processes according to DIN EN ISO 9100

• Completed training as a skilled worker with additional qualification, or technician in electrical engineering, electronics, RF engineering or comparable
• Experience in radar, electronic warfare, aircraft electronics and RF measurement technology
• IT skills (e.g. SAP, MS Office)
• Independent and self-reliant way of working
• Willingness to work in a team
• Meeting the requirements for the extended security clearance (SÜ2) according to BMWE
• Driving licence class B an advantage
• Good German and English skills
• Willingness to go on national and international business trips
