Systems Engineer for TRx-4D Advanced Development

HENSOLDT seeks a systems engineer in Ulm for TRx-4D advanced development, starting as soon as possible. The 4D Systems Engineering department defines, develops, tests and integrates TRS-4D and TRML-4D products and handles advanced development for this product family.

• Define technical system requirements for naval and ground radars in the TRS-4D and TRML-4D product family based on customer or contractual requirements
• Develop system concepts and analyses
• Prepare system architecture interface documents, verification documents and acceptance documents
• Allocate requirements, define subsystem performance data and prepare subsystem specifications
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams developing systems and products, and work closely with specialist development, production and logistics teams
• Make technical solution decisions considering reuse, opportunities, risks, schedules, quality, costs, safety and technical performance
• Support business acquisition through effort estimates and technical groundwork for proposals

• Completed degree in physics, engineering, electrical engineering or a comparable field
• Several years of professional experience in this field
• Experience with modern development practices
• Experience providing technical leadership to teams is desirable
• Knowledge of systems engineering processes and methods
• Knowledge of DOORS, Atlassian tools and MBSE is desirable
• Teamwork, assertiveness, resilience and a confident manner
• German suitable for negotiations and very good English
