Production Planning Specialist

• Planning, scheduling and controlling production orders based on customer orders and production programs
• Ensuring on-time production considering capacities, material availability and customer priorities
• Carrying out capacity balancing and identifying and resolving bottlenecks
• Monitoring production progress and tracking critical orders
• Initiating suitable measures for schedule deviations, material shortages or disruptions in production
• Ensuring material supply to production and assembly lines in close coordination with purchasing, logistics and production
• Creating and analyzing key figures and carrying out target-actual comparisons
• Maintaining and optimizing master data, work plans and planning parameters in the ERP system
• Contributing to the further development of SAP S/4HANA and continuous improvement processes

• Successfully completed technical or commercial vocational training with further education, or a completed degree with a focus on production, logistics or industrial engineering
• Professional experience in production control, production planning or materials planning at a manufacturing company
• Good knowledge of ERP systems, ideally SAP S/4HANA PP
• Confident use of MS Office, especially Excel
• Strong planning and organizational skills as well as analytical thinking
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working
• Strong communication skills, assertiveness and teamwork
