Materials planner

Plan materials at Humbaur to ensure timely supplies and improve planning and supply chain processes.

• Independently plan assigned materials to ensure timely supplies
• Monitor and optimize inventory, safety stock and planning parameters
• Analyze missing parts, supply bottlenecks and critical material needs, and take appropriate action
• Coordinate delivery dates, quantities and priorities with purchasing, suppliers and internal teams
• Monitor and process purchase proposals, production orders and relevant material requirements planning elements in SAP
• Maintain master data relevant to materials planning and continuously improve planning processes
• Prepare, analyze and track performance indicators, analyses and reports
• Contribute to projects that improve, digitize and develop supply chain, planning and ERP processes
• Support new projects and take on special tasks in supply chain management

• Completed commercial or technical vocational training, ideally with further training in logistics or supply chain management
• Experience in materials planning, production planning or supply chain management is an advantage
• Confident use of ERP systems, ideally SAP R3 or SAP S/4HANA MM/PP
• Good MS Office skills, especially Excel
• An analytical and structured approach to work
• Strong personal responsibility and excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Understanding of business relationships and logistics processes
