IT Analyst

Hydro Global Business Services (GBS) is a central organizational unit and internal service provider of the Hydro group. A Local IT Support Analyst is sought for GBS Global IT Support, primarily based in Rackwitz. Together with regional and global IT teams, you ensure stable and efficient IT operations and also support other Hydro sites when needed.

• Handling and resolving incidents and service requests in local IT support
• Installation, configuration and support of IT workstations, hardware, software and local infrastructure components
• Analysis and resolution of hardware, software, infrastructure and application problems
• Monitoring and supporting the site-specific IT infrastructure and applications
• Collaboration with regional and global IT support and expert teams
• Support of Active Directory and assistance with user and permission management
• Participation in local, cross-site and global IT projects and IT change processes
• Ensuring compliance with Hydro's global IT security, architecture and operating standards
• Creating and maintaining IT documentation within your own area of responsibility
• Advising and supporting local departments on IT-related questions
• Supporting other Hydro sites when needed, both remotely and on site

• Successfully completed vocational training in IT or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in IT support or IT infrastructure
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows client and server environments and Microsoft 365
• Experience with Active Directory, group policies and basic networking technologies
• Experience in client, software and endpoint management
• Knowledge of supporting LAN/WLAN, network components and VLANs is an advantage
• Experience in a production or industrial environment is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of ITIL or IT service management is desirable
• Good written and spoken German and English
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working
• Strong service orientation as well as communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to support other Hydro sites when needed and to make occasional business trips
• Willingness to keep developing professionally
