Production Employee

Jenoptik is looking for a production employee in its Strategic Business Unit Biophotonics, which develops and supplies photonic modules and system solutions for life science and medical technology.

• Assembly of optomechanical/optoelectronic assemblies and systems
• Adjustment of optical components/systems
• Testing of optoelectronic systems using test plans
• Recording and documenting work results and process parameters
• Coordinating work tasks within the team
• Active participation in continuous improvement processes

• Completed vocational training as optics technician, mechatronics technician, precision mechanic or a comparable field
• Experience as optics assembler, adjuster, precision mechanic or mechatronics technician in assembling, adjusting and testing optical/optoelectronic systems is an advantage
• Practical expertise in adjusting optical components, ideally including laser modules and systems
• Highest quality standards through an independent, conscientious and reliable way of working
• Technical skill in confidently reading and interpreting complex technical drawings and test plans
• Strong team spirit and excellent communication skills
• Normal shift (willingness to work two shifts is an advantage)
