Quality Assurance Employee, Incoming Goods Inspection

Jenoptik is looking for a quality assurance employee for incoming goods inspection in Jena. The position belongs to the Strategic Business Unit Semiconductor & Advanced Manufacturing, a global OEM and machine supplier of photonics-based solutions.

• Carrying out incoming goods inspection of purchased materials and standard inspection tasks according to regulations
• Documenting inspection results, assessing quality and making usage decisions in SAP
• Internal transport
• Stock management of the quality inspection stock
• Cooperation with internal interfaces such as goods receipt, production planning, the Operations Optics production areas, technology, development, SCM and external suppliers

• Completed vocational training in a craft or technical trade
• Several years of professional experience in an industrial environment in quality assurance or measurement technology
• Basic expertise in optics and specialized measurement technology
• Knowledge of handling and interpreting technical drawings
• Teamwork, a structured and organized way of working, results orientation, strong communication skills and a high level of commitment
• Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP
