Production Planner in the Quotation Center (Supply Chain Management)

• As a production planner in the quotation center, you are the link between sales, development, purchasing and production
• Your main responsibility lies in the technical and economic evaluation of customer inquiries
• You create detailed manufacturing cost calculations for new and existing products: optical components, assemblies, modules and lenses
• You prepare well-founded decision templates for project studies and "make or buy" analyses
• You control and coordinate the entire quotation process in close cooperation with purchasers, technologists, developers, sales and suppliers
• You check the available production capacities in the plant for new projects and products
• In coordination with purchasing, you evaluate supplier offers
• You moderate cross-plant technical meetings and ensure that the flow of information between all departments works smoothly
• You represent production planning in the planning of optical products in the plant

• Completed degree in a technical field (engineering, physics) or in the areas of supply chain management / project management or comparable training in manufacturing technology
• Several years of professional experience as a production planner, technologist, project manager or developer in the optical industry
• Confident use of SAP and Excel
• Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g. SAP Analytics Cloud or Power BI) and AI tools is an advantage
• Knowledge of lean management methods
• Independent, solution-oriented way of working and a high degree of communication and negotiation skills, as you work daily with many internal and external interfaces
• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
