Nursing Professional

Part-time position as a nursing professional (geriatric nurse, general nurse) in the outpatient service of Johannes-Diakonie RegioCare, permanent.

• Medication management: administering medication, preparing pill organizers and checking the medication plan
• Wound care: professional dressing changes, care of chronic or acute wounds
• Vital signs & diagnostics: measuring and recording blood pressure, pulse, blood sugar and body temperature
• Specific measures: injections (e.g. insulin), applying compression stockings, infusion therapy or stoma care as prescribed by a doctor
• Personal hygiene: help with showering, bathing, intimate hygiene and oral and hair care
• Nutrition: support with food and fluid intake
• Mobility: help with getting up, lying down, walking and positioning bedridden patients
• Patients & relatives: guidance and advice for caring relatives and conducting care consultations
• Interdisciplinary exchange: close cooperation with GPs, therapists, pharmacies and care insurers
• Care documentation: complete recording of services, vital signs and special observations via tour phone or paper file to ensure care quality
• Tour planning: structured handling of daily home visits considering travel and visit times

• Completed training as a geriatric nurse or general nurse (m/f/d)
