Apprenticeship Industrial Mechanic

Learn basic skills in manual metalworking, electrical engineering and gear technology. Acquire necessary knowledge for handling materials, tools and machines (measuring, sawing and grinding, filing, drilling, turning, milling, CNC machining and welding). Machining (mechanical and manual), production and assembly of components. Inspection and commissioning of assemblies directly upon their completion, as well as of already assembled forklifts on test benches. Carry out regular inspections and maintenance of machines and systems. Read and create technical drawings. Manufacture and test mechanical parts according to drawings. Obtain forklift, crane and first aid licenses.

Good qualified secondary school diploma, intermediate school diploma or technical college entrance qualification. Interest in mathematics, physics and chemistry. Technical understanding and manual dexterity. Enjoyment of working with materials. Careful and precise work. Teamwork, patience and flexibility. Initiative and communication skills. Reliability and high sense of responsibility.

Apprenticeship remuneration at least 1,300€/month. 30 days vacation. Subsidized canteen. Intensive exam preparation. Subsidy for Deutschland-Ticket.
