Development and Project Engineer Electrical Engineering

Analysis & Specification: You start the customer project with a technical requirements analysis and carry this out together with the development team in a detailed specification. You define the electrical engineering specifications for offers and technical descriptions.

• System Architecture & Integration: You are responsible for the system architecture (hardware & control) and interfaces. As a technical contact for mechanical design, you specify the requirements for system integration and define concrete material and execution specifications at critical points (e.g. EMC).
• Control & Implementation: You coordinate the detailed design (e.g. in EPLAN) by our external partners and monitor progress. You ensure proper implementation and, if necessary, also intervene operationally yourself to implement or adapt technical solutions directly.
• Safety & Compliance: To ensure our systems function safely in use, you ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g. VDE 0100, EN 60204) during design and acceptance. Prospectively, you also accompany the internal CE conformity assessment.
• Overall Responsibility Work Package: You lead the electrical engineering trade over the entire project duration. You are responsible for the budget, schedule management and clean master data maintenance and documentation.

• A completed technical degree (Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics) or a comparable qualification such as Technician/Master with relevant experience.
• Ideally you have several years of professional experience in system design, special machinery construction or in the environment of mobile applications (e.g. construction machinery, agricultural technology, special vehicles).
• You have knowledge of common safety standards (e.g. VDE 0100, EN 60204).
• You understand PLC architectures (IEC 61131-3 / TIA Portal) and can safely understand and evaluate external EPLAN projects (P8).
• Knowledge of SAP and experience in documentation of technical work packages are an advantage.
• You are IT-savvy and use AI tools like Gemini profitably for your daily work.
• You work in a structured and analytical manner, communicate in a targeted manner with interfaces and keep an overview even in complex project phases.
• Due to our international orientation, very good German and English skills (B2) and a willingness to travel worldwide (approx. 10%) are required.
