• Secure component robustness from analysis to lifetime proof and derive optimization potential from static and dynamic simulation results
• Automate simulation processes and integrate machine learning and AI approaches into the workflow
• Lead demanding method development projects to expand the calculation methodology
• Advise development teams from design and testing on structural mechanics questions and drive global knowledge exchange with the worldwide hubs

• Relevant professional experience in structural simulation (FEM) in product development, together with deep knowledge of engineering mechanics and numerics.
• Strong innovation, shown by your practical experience or strong interest in modern AI methods (e.g. surrogate models, data-driven engineering) in simulation.
• A strong understanding of complex systems, with which you drive the digitalization of test processes and actively shape the close link between physical testing and virtual calculation.
• Comprehensive knowledge of computational component design (focus on plastics and metals), design know-how and computational material theory, ideally complemented by Hyperworks experience.
• Good English skills and a global networking mindset for worldwide knowledge exchange with international teams and simulation hubs.
