Search & AI Optimization Specialist (SEO/GEO)

As a driving force in the SEO/GEO team, you take classic SEO to the next level and make sure Kärcher is found in AI-based search queries and LLMs.

• As a driving force in the SEO/GEO team, ensure Kärcher is found in AI-based search queries and LLMs
• Actively support the design and implementation of modern SEO and GEO strategies for web search engines and marketplaces like Amazon
• Observe and analyze algorithms and trends to optimize content for AI answer systems and shopping assistants
• Steer digital visibility projects across platforms together with other departments
• Advise on technical and content topics, analyze performance data and solve complex SEO tickets

• Proven, relevant practical experience in SEO plus solid knowledge of or strong enthusiasm for GEO/AEO and search mechanisms on e-commerce platforms
• Deep understanding of how generative language models and AI shopping assistants process information and how products and content must be prepared to be recommended by AI systems
• Confident use of tools such as SEMRUSH, Screaming Frog and similar
• Excellent technical and analytical understanding: performance analyses, keyword mappings, prompt analyses and structured data
• Negotiation-level German and very good English, spoken and written (further languages are a plus)
• Solid project management experience and a structured way of working, combined with great curiosity and initiative
