High School Graduate Program Store - Retail Trade Specialist 2027

You want to earn three IHK qualifications and take on leadership responsibility? In the high school graduate program at Kaufland, you are part of a strong team from day one. In the first 1.5 years you complete the apprenticeship as a retail salesperson, followed by 1.5 years of further training to become a retail trade specialist (Bachelor Professional of Trade and Commerce). The trainer qualification is included. Your daily tasks: You manage the merchandise processes from ordering to sales and the customer shopping experience. You take responsibility for a merchandise area, staff scheduling, and inventory. You support the analysis of business KPIs, such as your store's turnover.

You already have your high school diploma (Abitur) or technical college entrance qualification (Fachhochschulreife) or are about to obtain it. You have a passion for food and want to learn more about ordering, selling our products, and our assortment. You enjoy approaching people and can inspire with your communication skills. You are highly motivated, reliable, and can work flexibly around our store opening hours.

At least €1,350 gross per month during the first six months, at least €1,500 gross per month from month 7 to 18, and above-tariff salary from month 19 onward. Plus holiday and Christmas bonuses and 6 weeks of annual leave. Three qualifications in three years – we also cover accommodation and meal costs during your school phases at an external top education center. Excellent takeover prospects after successful final examination; with good performance, directly as head of your own merchandise area.
