Working Student in the Development Bank - Financial Cooperation for Central and Southern Africa

Working student position in KfW's development bank: you support the Financial Cooperation team for Central and Southern Africa on projects in the sectors of sustainable economic development, governance and peace.

• You support us in day-to-day project work, preparing and steering exciting projects in the sectors of sustainable economic development, governance and peace.
• Throughout the project cycle, you help the team analyse portfolio and financial data, do often short-notice research, and handle project reporting and quality assurance.
• You also help with portfolio administration, for example by carefully maintaining data and documents in the relevant systems.
• You also support team organisation, such as preparing and following up internal meetings and meetings with project partners.
• When handling ad-hoc requests you show your flexibility and gain a comprehensive insight into our diverse projects.

• You are currently studying for a Bachelor's (at least in the 3rd semester) or Master's in economics, political science or a comparable field.
• Ideally you have basic business knowledge and are enthusiastic about development policy and development economics.
• You are a strong communicator; fluent negotiation skills in German and English are desirable; French is a plus.
• You are skilled with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
