Deputy Nursing Unit Manager – Central Emergency Department

Support the nursing unit manager in the professional and organisational leadership of the central emergency department and help ensure high-quality, patient-centred and interdisciplinary emergency care.

Support personnel management, duty and deployment planning, and the promotion and development of the nursing team; actively help shape and develop nursing processes, structures and workflows; work closely with doctors, emergency services and other internal and external interfaces.

Completed training as a nursing professional, registered nurse or equivalent recognised qualification; successfully completed specialist training in emergency nursing; initial leadership experience or motivation to take on a management role is desirable; several years of experience in a central emergency department; confident, structured and solution-oriented approach, including in dynamic situations; enjoyment of teamwork and a respectful manner towards patients, relatives and colleagues.
