Product Manager Timber Construction

Knauf Gips KG is looking for a Product Manager Timber Construction in drywall product management at the Iphofen site. Hybrid working is possible.

• You are responsible for the product and system portfolio in timber construction within drywall product management across the entire product life cycle, and develop suitable product and system solutions at the interface of drywall and timber construction
• You analyse market, customer and competitor developments in the timber construction segment, identify trends, market potential and new areas of application, and derive suitable product strategies, positioning and marketing concepts
• Your tasks include close cooperation with sales, marketing, engineering, application technology, research & development and purchasing to translate customer requirements into marketable products, systems and services and to build up internal expertise in timber construction
• You also support sales with technical and product-related content, arguments and training, and help create product documents, presentations, sales information and training materials
• Your area of responsibility is rounded off by supporting pilot projects, reference projects and market tests, as well as representing the company at customers, trade events, fairs and associations

• You have a successfully completed degree in civil engineering, timber construction, architecture, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification
• You also have professional experience in product management, technical sales or a comparable role, ideally in construction with a focus on timber construction, and good knowledge of timber construction, drywall or interior finishing
• Your profile includes a sound understanding of construction-technical contexts, system solutions and application requirements, as well as experience in developing, positioning or marketing products that need explanation
• You stand out through a strong sense for market requirements, customer needs and economic potential, as well as a strategic yet practical way of working, initiative, organisational skills and a structured approach
• Your profile is rounded off by strong communication skills, the ability to work well with different internal and external interfaces, confident presence, joy in actively driving topics forward, very good German skills, good written and spoken English skills and willingness for occasional business travel
