About this Apprenticeship
Knauf Gips KG, part of the global Knauf Group, is looking for a technical draftsperson/editor for CAD drawings and plant documentation. The position is initially limited to 2 years.
What You'll Learn
- As a technical draftsperson/editor (m/f/d), you are responsible for creating technical drawings using CAD and for the plant documentation
- Plant documentation includes scanning and filing old documents, sorting out documentation of dismantled plants, and organizing and maintaining documentation of new plant parts
- Introducing and supporting a data management software (Vault) will be part of your role, and you independently handle purchase requisitions in SAP
- Carrying out measurements on building and machine technology is easy for you, and you coordinate with interfaces to clarify details
- You support various technical projects such as replacing or rebuilding plants or new buildings
Requirements
- You are a technical draftsperson (m/f/d) or mechanical engineering technician (m/f/d) and ideally already have work experience
- Reading and creating technical drawings comes easily to you
- You have CAD knowledge, ideally Autodesk 2D/3D, and are not afraid of working with SAP PM
- Organizational talent, teamwork and a hands-on mentality set you apart
- You show communication skills in German; basic English is an advantage
