Production Worker

Knauf deutsche Gipswerke KG is looking for a production worker in a 3-shift operation in Spremberg. The position is initially limited to 2 years.

• Your main tasks include independently setting up, controlling and monitoring our automated machines and production lines in a 3-shift operation: from preparing raw materials for the mixing process to handover to the finished goods warehouse
• No detail escapes you: you analyze and fix faults, if necessary involving maintenance
• Your area also includes carrying out inspection, maintenance and cleaning work on the equipment you are responsible for
• You take care of properly carrying out continuous process checks and documenting them
• By actively helping to optimize ongoing production processes you shape the future, and you support teams in neighboring areas when needed

• You already have some experience as a plant operator (m/f/d) in manufacturing; a technical background or a trade apprenticeship is an advantage
• You have a strong awareness of occupational safety and quality
• You are characterized by a solution- and goal-oriented way of thinking and working, as well as a high level of reliability and sense of responsibility
• You enjoy developing and implementing optimization ideas in your area together with the team
• Last but not least, you are willing to work in a 3-shift system
