Technical Sales Manager Construction Projects

Knauf Gips KG, part of the global Knauf Group, is looking for a Technical Sales Manager for construction project business in the Aachen, Düsseldorf, Cologne area. In this key role, you place technical solutions early in demanding construction projects and help shape the planning and tendering phase. The position is field service or fully remote (home office).

• You purposefully build strong relationships with architects, planners, investors and other project participants and act as a door opener for new business opportunities
• Through close cooperation with the regional field sales team and product management, you manage pre-sales from first contact to successful project completion
• You are responsible for your own project pipeline, analyze market potential and manage your sales activities in a structured way via the CRM system
• In addition, you represent our company at customers, events and trainings and actively contribute to developing long-term customer relationships

• Ideally you have training as a civil engineer/architect/master painter or master plasterer (m/f/d)
• You bring several years of professional experience and knowledge of interior and exterior plaster, facade systems and external thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS) that you apply successfully in daily business
• Ideally you have already achieved success in project-oriented B2B sales and have a good feel for complex decision processes
• With your communication skills and negotiating ability, you manage to reconcile different interests with confidence and build lasting relationships
• In addition, you work in a structured way, use digital tools confidently and always keep an overview even with several projects at once
