Project Manager

The Komax Group is a market leader in automated cable processing solutions. A project manager is sought for customer-specific projects with an engineering component.

• Managing the realization of customer-specific projects with an engineering component
• Meeting customer specifications within the given cost budget and milestones
• Interdisciplinary leadership and management of the internal project team
• Initiating change management in the project
• Continuous cost, schedule, scope and risk management
• Central contact for the customer from project start to project completion
• Reporting to management and ongoing project reporting
• Externally evidentiary and (in principle) legally protective project documentation
• Conflict management in the project
• Identifying and documenting lessons learned and helping initiate implementation of measures after project controlling
• Helping shape internal projects and carry out continuous improvements in project management

• Successfully completed technical training with further qualification as a state-certified technician and/or a degree in a commercial or technical field (industrial engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable field)
• Many years of professional experience in project management of international customer-specific applications and cross-functional leadership teams is mandatory
• Knowledge and experience with project management methods and tools, project manager certifications (e.g. IPMA® Level C / PMI PMP®)
• Experience leading cross-functional teams
• Very good organizational skills
• Proven presentation and communication skills
• Sense of responsibility, integrity and strong self-motivation
• Very good technical understanding required, preferably in special machine building
• Very good MS Office skills, SAP desirable
• Very good German and English skills
• Willingness to travel internationally on business
