About this Apprenticeship
As a gerontopsychiatric specialist, you lovingly take care of preparing and carrying out individual and group care for people in need of care in the nursing home. You are a support, anchor, help and companion for the people entrusted to us and for our care assistants, trainees and interns.
What You'll Learn
- Individual and activating social care for our residents
- Preparing and carrying out individual and group care with our residents
- Support with managing everyday life
- Implementing care documentation and planning
- Close contact with residents, relatives and physicians
- Complying with quality assurance measures
- Helping to professionally guide and develop care assistants, trainees and interns
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in geriatric or general nursing
- Additional qualification as a gerontopsychiatric specialist (f/m/d)
- Enjoyment of working with elderly people in need of care
- Empathy and a sense of responsibility
