Discover what you can move at the KUKA Group. The KUKA Group offers an enormous range of opportunities to advance your career, follow your passion and unfold your potential. We are one of the world's leading automation specialists and offer global opportunities in areas such as robotics, automation, logistics, software solutions and electronics. If you are a doer, a visionary with bold ambitions and value collaboration and mutual respect, then you are on the road to success at KUKA Group. As an application engineer, you program robot applications on-site at the customer in a wide range of industries and application areas. The scope of tasks also includes commissioning, configurations, troubleshooting and start-up support of robot systems. Another focus is the optimization of robot systems already in production operation. Your assignments preferably take place in the federal states of NRW, Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland. In some projects we also support our foreign subsidiaries or accompany the re-commissioning of a customer project delivered abroad. Within a project you are involved in project discussions and decisions. For special applications you adapt Kuka standard software packages to customer requirements. After implementation you conduct customer personnel training and accompany acceptance. After project completion, documentation of the robot application is created for the customer as needed. Another focus is supporting customers within our new "SafetyServices" service portfolio in consulting and execution regarding robot safety. After your onboarding, you support the planning phase in clarifying technical requirements and work on creating technical proposal templates. Furthermore, your area of responsibility includes customer discussions in-house or on-site. For complex inquiries you validate technical feasibility in a lab environment and present your solution approaches to sales/customer. Within the company you work closely with sales, the simulation department and other departments/branches of Customer Service. You drive to the assignment locations with your company car, which is also available for private use.
