Service Owner Packaging and Software Distribution

The Infrastructure Support Services group is a key pillar of our IT department and plays a decisive role in supporting and optimizing our IT infrastructure. As Service Owner Packaging and Software Distribution, you are responsible for the services for software packaging and distribution throughout their entire lifecycle. You design the software provision in LBBW's client and server environments together with internal teams and external providers.

Design and develop services: You define the service scope, target picture, roadmap, and operating model for software packaging and distribution in LBBW's client and server environments. You agree with stakeholders which services are provided internally and which by providers. Control standards and provision: You define requirements for package quality, tests, releases, rollouts, and rollbacks and ensure their implementation together with internal teams and providers. Ensure service quality: You clarify responsibilities and handovers, monitor agreed quality targets, and initiate measures in case of disruptions or performance deviations. Improve collaboration and processes: You coordinate application owners, IT operations, architecture, information security, and external providers. You drive automation and further development of packaging and distribution processes. Assess risks and efficiency: You consider security, data protection, and regulatory requirements, support audits, and prepare decisions on technologies, operating models, and license, operating, and provider costs.

Qualifications and Experience: You have studied computer science or business informatics or bring a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience. You also have several years of experience in software packaging, software distribution, or operating complex IT infrastructures. Technical Know-how: You have sound knowledge of Windows Server/Client and RHEL environments and experience with packaging and installation procedures such as MSI, MSIX, or RPM as well as PowerShell or shell scripting. Tools and Processes: You have sound knowledge of Microsoft Intune and know other distribution and automation technologies such as Microsoft Configuration Manager, Red Hat Satellite, or Ansible. Experience with Atlassian toolchain applications is an advantage. Change, release, incident, problem, and configuration management are also familiar to you. Conception and Control: You have experience in further developing technical architectures, standards, and operating models, controlling their implementation, and collaborating with various stakeholders and external service providers. Knowledge of IT governance, information security, or regulatory requirements in the banking environment is a plus. Personality: You think strategically and conceptually, work in a structured and independent manner, and combine communication skills and assertiveness with a high quality awareness. You can convey complex technical topics understandably and bring different interests together to form viable solutions. Language: You have very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken.
