You ensure stable telephone and internet connections, install and configure telecommunications systems, routers, switches, VoIP and WLAN. You lay, splice and test fiber optic and copper lines and carefully document measurement results. You locate and rectify network faults in a team and carry out systematic troubleshooting using suitable measuring instruments. You learn the fundamentals of electronics and network technology and install communication systems safely according to specifications. You assist with commissioning, work in a customer-oriented manner and create traceable project documentation.
