Abitur Program Sales incl. Certified Retail Business Manager 2027

With Lidl's Abitur program you combine the apprenticeship as a retail merchant with the further training as a Certified Retail Business Manager (IHK), and also earn the AdA certificate under AEVO. The goal is to lead your own team as a store manager in the future. Practical phases take place in the store, and theory phases are held in block classes at an external training center. Training starts on 1 August.

• 3 qualifications in 3 years: With our Abitur program you combine the apprenticeship as a retail merchant with the further training as a Certified Retail Business Manager (IHK) and also earn the AdA certificate under AEVO – your goal: to lead your own team as a store management professional in the future
• During the practical phases in the store you get to know our business from the ground up and learn how we ensure a great shopping experience through quality, freshness and cleanliness
• Whether stocking and presenting goods, ordering or working the checkout: you pitch in and give your full commitment
• We also prepare you in staff leadership so that you can soon take over your own shift
• To further build your skills you take part in various trainings and seminars – and you also earn the IHK trainer certificate
• The theory phases take place in block classes at an external training center (any travel/accommodation costs are covered by Lidl)

• Abitur or Fachhochschulreife (completed theoretical and practical part)
