About this Apprenticeship
Lidl's three-year programme in Kornwestheim combines a retail apprenticeship with an advanced IHK retail management qualification and a trainer qualification. The aim is to prepare you for a store leadership role. Training starts on 1 August.
What You'll Learn
- Earn 3 qualifications in 3 years: combine a retail apprenticeship with the advanced IHK retail management qualification and the trainer qualification required under AEVO, with the aim of leading your own store team
- Learn the business from the ground up during practical store placements and see how quality, freshness and cleanliness create a good shopping experience
- Take an active role in stocking shelves, presenting goods, ordering stock and operating the till
- Develop staff management skills so you can soon take charge of your first shift
- Attend training courses and seminars to develop your skills and earn the IHK trainer qualification
- Attend theory classes in blocks at an external training centre, with any travel and accommodation costs covered by Lidl
Requirements
- Abitur or a university of applied sciences entrance qualification, with both the theoretical and practical parts completed
- A committed approach to work and an interest in the fast-moving world of retail
- Enthusiasm, determination and a strong willingness to take responsibility
- Team spirit and enjoyment of achieving things together
- Reliability and flexibility to work during your store's opening hours
